First ever Internet WinBolo game played all the way through. The date is Nov 8, 1999, the game was between myself (Jolo) at Duke and Kax from the Univ of Chicago. The map is Skew Toy. Kax won, which is no surprise. :)
A little 3-way action! Actually I'm just in here for the picture. This is at the end of an epic game after the one shown above, between Max and Kax (no relation) that lasted over an hour, partly because they were well matched, but also partly due to some annoying bugs (such as bases that could not be stolen) which mad e the end-game protracted and painful.
First ever Internet WinBolo connection established on Nov 4, 1999, with me (Jolo) and mecca sitting off the SE shore of Everard. This was not a real game because we were just screwing around, didn't really play against each other. Mecca shot his own lgm earlier, note parachute returning. Fully functional message wire, alliances, the whole shebang.
